The Ohio Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians announces the eleventh annual "EMS Star of Life" Awards Dinner and Ceremony, scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 5:30PM at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North. This event is designed to honor the accomplishments of Emergency Medical Services personnel from all over the state of Ohio during EMS week. The theme of EMS Week 2009 is "A Proud Partner In Your Community." The EMS Star of Life Award honors the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of the medical ‘front line.' The ceremony will present actual patient scenarios and reunite the EMS caregivers with the individuals they treated from EMS Regions across the state. This is the premier event during EMS week to recognize and honor Ohio's excellent pre-hospital providers.
