With the recent increased focus on reducing the cost of health care, ACEP has convened the Cost Effective Care Task Force. The mission of the Task Force is to identify evidence-based best practices in emergency medicine that will help lower the cost of emergency care without sacrificing quality.
The Cost Effective Care Task Force is looking for ACEP members’ input on how best to achieve this goal. They have released a short, two-question survey that will help to guide ACEP’s efforts on this matter. Survey responses will be used to develop and prioritize methods for improving the care delivered in emergency departments.
The deadline for responding to the survey is November 15.
