Conducted by the Ohio Department of Public Safety's EMS Division and OhioHealth EMS, this half-day workshop is designed to help demonstrate (1) what process improvement is; (2) how to start a process improvement activity; and (3) the legal requirements for performing process improvement activities by EMS in Ohio.
The workshop teaches this information by stressing the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) model, and providing hands-on exercises to demonstrate process improvement and help understand its application in EMS.
