Ohio ACEP Emergency Medicine Workforce Town Hall

Virtual

Please Join Us for an Ohio ACEP Emergency Medicine Workforce Town Hall

New data from ACEP reveals that, for the first time in history, we are facing a projected oversupply of 6,000-10,000 emergency physicians nationwide over the next decade if we do nothing to mitigate current trends now.  Many factors influence the Emergency Medicine workforce, including the number of annual ED visits, acuity of ED visits, number of annual residency graduates, the role of physician assistants and nurse practitioners, and numerous others.

Ohio ACEP leaders want and need to hear from you on the workforce issue. Please join us for a Virtual Meeting & Listening Session August 9. We hope it will serve as a valuable forum for discussions and solutions as we move forward together.
