Ohio ACEP is currently recruiting the third class for our Leadership Development Academy. The next group of up-and-coming physicians will participate in a yearlong program designed to learn skills in advocacy at the national and state level as well as develop their own leadership skills. Participants will enhance their interpersonal effectiveness, management competencies and strategic decision making skills. The group will form a cohesive peer network and be matched with appropriate experienced mentors.
Past Academy graduates have included: Jason Cheatham, DO, FACEP; CC Halloran, MD, FACEP; Nicholas Kman, MD; and Nathan Schlicher, MD, JD, who have all gone on to hold leadership positions locally and in other state ACEP Chapters.
If you are interested in advocacy, administration, research, or education, this program will help you to develop a skill set to promote your career as well as gain valuable experience with Ohio ACEP.
